Terms of use

Last updated: 16 October 2026.

These terms cover your use of this website. They are between you and MAME LIMITED, a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, company number 09336373, registered office 585a Fulham Road, London, SW6 5UA (“MAME”, “we”, “us”).

Client projects are not covered here. A project starts only when both sides agree a separate proposal or contract.

Using the website

You may browse the site for information about the studio. The pages are general. They are not advice, and they are not an offer that you can accept simply by writing to us. A reply from the studio is an enquiry conversation, not a contract, until a proposal is agreed.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any page. We do our best to keep the company details accurate. The public record at Companies House is the register if a detail ever differs.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

Intellectual property

Unless a credit says otherwise, the text, layout, photographs, icons and the MAME name and mark on this site belong to MAME LIMITED or are used with permission. You may share a link to a page. You may not copy the photographs or the design for your own commercial use without our written agreement.

The studio studies on the Work page describe the kind of work we take on. They are not a claim that a named client commissioned them.

If you send us an idea in an enquiry, you keep the rights in what you send. You give us permission to use it so we can reply and, if we later work together, so we can prepare a proposal. Do not send confidential material until we have agreed how it will be handled.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that the law of England and Wales does not allow us to limit.

If you are a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These terms do not affect those rights.

The website is provided for general information. We are not liable for a business decision you take based only on these pages. Subject to the first paragraph of this section, and where you use the site in the course of a business, our total liability arising out of your use of the website is limited to £100.

We are not responsible for websites we link to. Those sites have their own terms and privacy notices.

Other policies

Our privacy policy, cookie policy, accessibility statement and complaints policy also apply to this website.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

Please use the complaints policy before starting a formal claim, so we have a chance to resolve it.
